Temporary Parking Access Update

From May 5–16, the 1st Street alleyway entrance to our parking lot will be closed for a MN Power project that includes repaving the alley. To ensure continued access, we’ve temporarily dismantled our pollinator garden courtyard and will direct all parking through the Superior Street entrance during this time.

We appreciate your patience and understanding—and we’re excited to bring back a refreshed courtyard space once the project wraps up and the alleyway reopens!

OUR VisionTo be the place where children
are free to imagine.

The mission of the Duluth Children's Museum is to engage children in hands-on learning through creative play and interactive exhibits that support our core goals of being a community-based organization that offers fun through engaging and learning.

PLAY

"Play is the highest form of research"
ALBERT EINSTEIN

Children need free play time to discover new things about themselves and the world around them.  Our exhibits are designed with little instruction to give kids the freedom to find their own solutions.

EXPLORE

“Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning.”

MR. ROGERS

Programs and exhibits provide opportunities for children to try out their passions, to test their own abilities, and to explore new topics.

DISCOVER

“It is a happy talent to know how to play.”

RALPH WALDO EMERSON

Our spaces are designed to encourage imaginations.  Dress up, pretend, invent stories and songs.  There are no limits to how you play!
